SAP SuccessFactors 1H 2023 Release Recruiting & Onboarding Highlights

The SuccessFactors half-yearly release is here, and our team at Discovery Consulting wants to share some Recruiting and Onboarding highlights.

Angela, our Centre of Excellence Lead for Recruiting & Onboarding talks about the following key items:

As Alex talked about in the Platform video, the Horizon Visual Theme will be on by default and has a noticeable impact to the UI for Recruiting. We suggest testing it out in Preview, as you may need to make some changes to your templates and theming.
A critical change to address is the deprecation of basic authentication for DocuSign integrations. This will impact sending offers in Recruiting or signing forms in Onboarding, if you haven’t already upgraded.
The most interesting change is the configurable new hire templates, you can now personalise the hire process by removing unnecessary blocks, changing the order, and including MDF objects. For example, in the Manage Pending Recruits step you could include an MDF, whereas previously this would have to be done as a separate step. This is one to test out and see how it can work for your processes.
There’s also a few small changes that will impact the home page cards and dashboards for both Onboarding and Offboarding.
