SAP SuccessFactors 1H 2023 Release Platform Highlights

The SuccessFactors half-yearly release is here, and our team at Discovery Consulting wants to share some Platform highlights.

Alex from Discovery Consulting reviewed the SuccessFactors 1H 2023 Release notes and wants to draw our attention to three important changes related to the SuccessFactors BizX Platform.

The first relates to the theming of the user interface, which sees the Horizon Visual Theme for SAP Fiori turned on by default. Customers will need to decide whether to adopt this feature or opt-out before the release is deployed to the production instances.
The second change is more technical, and customers with extensions or custom integrations will need to migrate to OAuth 2.0 before the deletion date in 2026.
Finally, there is a Platform feature deprecation that relates to the ToDo APIs for TodoCategory, TodoAction, and TodoEntryV3. These have reached end of maintenance and will be deleted at the end of this year.
